Dr. Janelle Gottuso, DVM

Practice Owner

I am both the owner and head DVM of Brimfield Veterinary Services. I grew up in Hermitage, PA, and have been practicing veterinary medicine for over 8 years and went to undergrad at Penn State University, studying Animal Medical Science in 2010, graduated with honors from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2014, and performed my clinical rotation at Oklahoma State University. I am very passionate about preventative medicine, pain management, and dentistry. I also thoroughly enjoy any soft tissue surgeries.

I live in Tallmadge, OH, with my husband, David Ede, who was born and raised in Tallmadge, OH. We have 3 young children, Elijah, Desmond, and Isadora, and 2 dogs and 2 cats.

It has always been a dream of mine to own my own practice and to provide high-quality pet care to the surrounding areas. I used to commute 45 minutes to work, and now I live less than 10 minutes away. I also go by a few different names, Dr. Janelle, Dr. Gottuso, and Dr. G.

Hospital Manager/Registered Veterinary Technician

I am a Registered Veterinary Technician and hospital manager here at Brimfield Veterinary Services. I’ve practiced for 23 years and finished school at Columbus State Community College. In my free time, I am a paramedic volunteer at a fire department.

When I am not at work, my children and I are very involved in 4-H and raising cows and rabbits. In my free time, I serve our community of Paint Township as a paramedic in the local fire department.

Lead Registered Veterinary Technician

I am the Lead Registered Veterinary Technician here at Brimfield Veterinary Services. I’ve practiced for 4 years and finished school at Kent State University Tuscarawas. I enjoy educating clients on good preventative care for their pets so they can give them the best care possible. I’m always trying to improve and be as efficient as possible to better care for our patients. I enjoy camping and traveling with friends, painting, and trying new local breweries.

I am a Registered Veterinary Technician here at Brimfield Veterinary Services. I’ve been practicing for 9 months and finished school at Vet Tech Institute. I pride myself on keeping my knowledge up-to-date and that my patients always get the best possible care. In my free time, I love to hike, kayak, rock climb, and read.

I am a Veterinary Assistant here at Brimfield Veterinary Services, and I’m currently attending veterinary technician school. I’ve been practicing for 1 year and 4 months. I take pride in being able to assist with helping animals who are in need. In my free time, I love to horseback ride, go 4-wheeling, and spend time with my family.

I am a Veterinary Assistant here at Brimfield Veterinary Services. I’ve been practicing for 6 months and I attended Ravenna High School. I love making sure animals are not in pain and are okay. I can communicate well with my coworkers to make sure a patient gets what is needed. In my free time, I like to take my dogs on walks, and go dancing with friends.

I am a Veterinary Assistant here at Brimfield Veterinary Services. I’ve been practicing since August 2022 and I attended Ross Medical to become certified as an Assistant. I genuinely enjoy learning more when it comes to Veterinary medicine and want to learn as much as I can. So every situation is a learning experience. In my free time, I love being with my own animals and keeping busy with creative projects.

I am a Veterinary Assistant and Customer Service Representative here at Brimfield Veterinary Services. I’ve been practicing for 23 years and a half and I attended Kent State for my Bachelors in business. I pride myself in patient care and communication by trying my best to provide the best medicine advice or care possible. I enjoy working along with the staff and doctors to help patients and keeping them healthy. In my free time, I attend concerts, spending time with friends, hanging out at the beach, and floating in my pool.

I am a Receptionist here at Brimfield Veterinary Services. I’ve practiced for a month and finished school at Southeast High School. I pride myself on being very loving towards animals and always showing compassion toward them. In my free time, I love to go camping, paper crafting, shopping, and spend time with my fur babies!

I am a Receptionist here at Brimfield Veterinary Services. I’ve been practicing for 4 months and a half. I attended Hilbest College in Hamburg, New York.
I enjoy coming to work every day and seeing all of our furry patients. It’s important to me to provide the best customer service that I can to be empathetic with all. I take pride in when we can make the owners smile and our patients happy.

I have been practicing for fours years. I went to school at Ellet and Stark State. I pride myself on customer service.

In my free time, I like to watch my kids play sports, ride 4wheelers, and spend time with my family.

I have been in finance for over 10 years. I went to high school in Tallmadge and received a bachelor’s and masters at Kent State University. I pride myself on customer service. I also run a small business in the area called Glazing Systems.

During my free time, I like spending time with my family.
